BROWN BUTTER CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES <3
8 TB butter **Reserve 2 TB room temp, brown 6 TB
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed generously
1 egg
1 1/2 cups All purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup chocolate chips (assorted)
Big pinch of salt (or 1/2 tsp if using unsalted butter)
1 tsp Vanilla
Dash of cinnamon (optional)
Can be made in one bowl by hand or in stand mixer. Scoop & bake at 350 degree Fahrenheit for ~8-12 minutes (or until just golden on the edges). Top with sea salt! Can freeze dough into balls and pop in the oven whenever you’re craving
